Dr. Zwart received her bachelor of liberal studies from The University of Iowa.
Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Zwart attended The University of Iowa, College of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors.
After graduation, she decided to continue her education by completing a one year dental implant fellowship focusing on clinical implant research, education, and patient care.
Dr. Zwart is an active member of the Johnson County Dental Society, honorary dental fraternity Omikron Kappa Upsilon, American Dental Association, and the Iowa Dental Association.
Dr. Zwart, a Minnesota native, is an avid Hawkeye football fan. She enjoys fall football Saturdays at Kinnick Stadium or wherever the Hawkeyes are playing. Some of her other hobbies include photography, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Margaret (Business Office Manager)
Margaret grew up in Iowa City and attended the University of Iowa to study business. After graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, she was hired at Sonoco CorrFlex, LLC in Iowa City and worked there as the Plant Accountant for two years. Following that, Margaret toured with a performance group and had the chance to travel across the country and perform at venues from coast to coast. During this time, she also continued her work as an accountant, doing book keeping and other administrative work for Public Property, LLC. After the group stopped touring in 2009, Margaret met with Dr. Zwart and was very excited to join the Hawkeye Family Dental team. She has enjoyed working in the dental field and getting to know all of our patients as they visit the office. In her spare time, Margaret enjoys traveling, baking, seeing live music and spending time with her family and friends.
Kari (Registered Dental Hygienist)
Kari is from Bettendorf, Iowa. She earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from Kirkwood Community College that included clinical training at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She is also a trained Dental Assistant. Prior to completing her Dental Hygiene Degree, Kari earned an A.A. Degree from Iowa Central College in Fort Dodge, Iowa while being part of their softball program. She then went on to attend the University of Iowa.
Kari has been involved in community services such as ISmiles, Iowa Mission of Mercy, and going to various nursing homes where she has volunteered her time and training to provide dental hygiene services. She enjoys running, attending Iowa Hawkeye football games and spending time with family and friends. Kari is excited about her career as a dental hygienist and looks forward to providing each patient with her best dental hygiene care.
